INSPIRATION
Your tutors have been drawn from frontline, major training institutions such as ArtsEd, LAMDA, GSA, Mountview and work regularly in the West End and in other major UK based performance arenas.
At the heart of The Academy lies a tale of unwavering belief and boundless energy. It's born from a deep-seated passion for crafting an educational facility that embraces the realities of a career in theatre, coupled with Francesco Grabassi (President) and Stefano Curtis’s (Executive Producer) at Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia steadfast faith in our ethos and experiences.
Guided by the collective wisdom of seasoned professionals, The Academy is the brainchild of Ramin Karimloo and Earl Carpenter, former Valjean and Javert duo from Cameron Mackintosh’s Les Misérables 25th Anniversary Production (Toronto and Broadway).
Their vision is to fashion an educational sanctuary where aspiring performers are nurtured, equipped, and empowered to excel, drawing from the rich tapestry of their own journeys and experiences in London West End musicals and beyond.

Take a deep dive into the rewards that erupt when rhyme, rhythm, tempo, melody and text all conspire to create drama. Examine form, convention, structural purpose, musicality, target and moment over five intensive sessions of discussion, debate and practical Masterclass.
Though an emerging series of exercises and workshops Annette will, invoking key practices of Sanford Meisner, delve deep into the imperative of impulse, listening and connection to partner, moment and environment.
Duets, Trios and Quartets will be under Christopher’s creative spotlight. Beginning with detailed rehearsal and creative development, the pieces will then be advanced into practical examination of liminal ‘Scene to Song’ action.
